How to lower the possibilities of being cheated in business?

The reason why I didn't name it as " How to avoid potential risk of being cheated in business" is because risk is always there,which cannot be avoided completely.
Well, this may be a hot topic coz most of the people in business is risking all the time.
Coz no business without risks.

Being cheated is just one aspect out of the risks, but also an event taking place frequently in business.
So how should we lower the possibilities of being cheated in business since we can not avoid it?

Here I would share some personal opinions for your reference:
1.) Be serious on prices.
Many of the clients go to their potential suppliers with kind of attitude " I must get the best product with lowest price" So this is really suppossed to the last thought you should have in your mind.


Coz " You get what you pay for" No one can change this principle.As no one will business with you at a loss as I mentioned in my last article " Are you still suffering from bad after-sale services?".

So when the price offered by someone is totally out of the proper marketing range,you got to think about this seriously ," how could and why could they offer you at so low price, or to say " impossible , incredibly low price" . I'd like to tell you that it is all because of its reality-----They are Cheating.

Last month, one of my potential mattresses clients come to me and say "someone quoted me at half of yours". We told him, even we cut off all profit, that price is not enough to cover the mattresses manufacturing costs.He chose not to follow my advice and paid that "supplier", then later after that he told me, "can you help to find him out as we paid him 50% of the goods payment, then we lose contact with them" Well, this is really not the things we wish to happen, but we do have another choice when we take actions.

So don't only pay all your attention to the price.
Just think about it and tell yourself, you get what you pay for.


2.) Be alert on supplier-test
When you talk all issues with your supplier, do understand and make sure that they are real factory that you want. If possible, require a sample to test, or directly pay a visit to them for better trust condition.
Do not believe the words, believe your eyes.


3.)Be focused on the quality
when you talk about the price with suppliers, do come back to the quality issues. Quality is always the first thing you need to consider instead of price.And they are always connected. So the thought should be " Best quality with best price " , rather than " Lowest price with best quality"
