The pocket spring is the highest quality spring type for innerspring unit mattresses. The springs are manufactured using the coiling machine, individually inserted into cloth, and fused into pockets using ultrasound. In this way, rows of springs are generated, which can be cut at the desired length and glued into innerspring units using hot melt. The largest possible spot elasticity is achieved for the “centered” assembly type. Pocket springs are coiled in a barrel shape or cylindrical shape. Mattresses with barrel springs can be easily bent and are suitable for adjustable head or foot parts. Cylindrical springs are particularly used for small spring diameters.

Mattresses with pocket innerspring units provide a special sleeping sensation and stand for high sleep comfort.
